The poster above is the draft of the one that will be shown five months prior to the release of the film.
We have chosen to release the poster five months prior to the film coming out because research has shown using 'Little Fockers' that they released their first advertisement poster for the upcoming film in August 2010 and the actual film was released December 2010. Another example of a poster being released quite some time prior to the release of the film is 'Toy Story 3' where the poster was released September 2009 and the film was released in July 2010. This information was found on collider.com. (poster below)
I felt this amount of time for 'Toy Story 3' was too long so i went for the amount of time 'Little Fockers' poster was released.
Good work Ben- an effective central image; you would need to incorporate institutional logos and a website. There is also sometimes a phrase relating to the film's theme or plot.
